  On the second day at the Mara, we visited a traditional Maasai village. The Maasai is a Kenyan tribe that has kept the majority of its traditional culture and values. For a fee of 2000 shillings each ($23 CAD), they performed both the men’s and women’s dance, escorted us around their village, and had a guide explain to us their custom practices and its symbolism.
