  The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the largest mosque in all of UAE and the eighth largest in the world. It’s a popular tourist attraction as well as the key place for Muslim worship in the country. All visitors (Muslim and non-Muslim) had to take off their shoes to enter, and all women had to be fully covered, exposing only their face, hands, and feet. Full-length and mid-length abayas were available at the entrance. Certain areas, such as the one in the photo, were prohibited to non-Muslim visitors.
