  We were one of the few who waited for the sunset at the top of the Pamukkale travertines, which are calcium deposits formed by hot springs. At the top of the travertines also lie the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. The entire area is a World Heritage Site. The photo was definitely worth the wait.
